Hey, this is my annual thread topic!
My list (all times Eastern):
DEFINITE/LIKELY GAMES
09/02 (Fri): Temple at Duke, 7:30 PM (may depend if girlfriend pushes back on my plan at last minute but so far I've gotten the green light)
09/10 (Sat): Lafayette at Temple, 2:00 PM
10/08 (Sat): Fordham at Lehigh, 12:00 PM
10/29 (Sat): Temple at Navy, 3:30 PM
11/05 (Sat): Villanova at Towson, 2:00 PM
POSSIBLE GAMES
09/17 (Sat): Rutgers at Temple, 2:00 PM (girlfriend has other commitments that day; may depend on whether additional tickets for sold out Echo & The Bunnymen concert are released)
11/26 (Sat): East Carolina at Temple, time TBA (depends on overall sports schedule that day)
UNLIKELY GAMES BUT NOT 100% RULED OUT
09/10 (Sat): Lehigh at Georgetown, 5:00 PM (is alternate to Lafayette/Temple the same day)
10/08 (Sat): Princeton at Lafayette, 12:30 PM (is alternate to Fordham/Lehigh the same day; becomes more likely if I attend 9/10 Lehigh/Georgetown game)
10/08 (Sat): Penn at Georgetown, 2:00 PM (becomes likely if I for some reason don't make planned family visit that weekend)
10/29 (Sat): Bloomsburg at Shepherd, 12:00 PM (is alternate to Temple/Navy the same day)
11/05 (Sat): South Florida at Temple, time TBA (is alternate to Villanova/Towson the same day)
In addition to games listed above, select DI-AA/FCS, D2, and/or possibly D3 playoff games involving teams I follow that take place in/near the DC area (on 11/19, 12/3, 12/10, or 12/17), in/near the Lehigh Valley (on 11/26), or in/near the Philadelphia area (on 12/3) are also possibilities.
Finally, I plan to attend four Philadelphia Eagles games NFL games this fall for sure (9/25 at Washington, 10/2 vs Jacksonville, 12/4 vs Tennessee, and 1/1 vs New Orleans). Other Eagles games, particularly 11/20 at Indianapolis, 12/11 at N.Y. Giants, 12/18 at Chicago, and/or 1/8 vs N.Y. Giants, are also possibilities.

All 6 Bobcat home games
9/3 McNeese State
9/10 Morehead State (first two weeks will be MSU vs MSU)
10/1 UC Davis
10/8 Idaho State
10/22 Weber State
11/19 Montana
Our FBS away game in Portland
9/17 Oregon State
Assuming we make the playoffs, all home playoff games.
And if the Bobcats should be lucky enough to make it to the NC game, we'll go to that one. Last year we had all the arrangements made but when they cancelled a bunch of flights at the last minute we missed getting down to Frisco.

I'll probably have a lot fewer games I can make it to this year due to a few things going on this fall.
Don't know for sure, but my guess is I'll be at the following WIU games:
10/22 - WIU vs YSU (Homecoming)
11/5 - WIU vs NDSU
11/12 - WIU vs INSU
And if things are somehow going well, possibly
11/19 - WIU at ILSU

Need to add...
Likely
Lehigh at Cornell - Love Ithaca! Especially in mid-October!
Definitely Possible
Holy Cross at Buffalo - I am considering applying to a doctoral program at UB so I want to check out the school and Amherst area in more detail. Granted, I was there for the Bulls/Temple game in 2019. Good chance I can get off work to make the trek....

Opener vs. McNeese
Probably not for Morehead State (think we have something going, but for the life of me can't remember what) Probably - what I couldn't remember is a friend saying her BF is going to a concert, so she asked about going to the game. I'm an idiot.
Considering Oregon State in Portland (tix are reasonable and easy to get to Portland) Really looking hard at this one. It's the lady's birthday the next week as well as the friend mentioned above and tix are $15 for middle of EZ upper deck, $25 for 50-yard line UD or $30 for lower corner. Extremely reasonable.
Likely for Davis and ISU-o
Also considering UNC for same reasons as OSU game
Very likely for BBQ (birthday weekend)
Opening the wallet for Cat-Griz. Unless there's none to be had for less than an NFL game, definitely planning to pay out the nose.
Any and all home playoff games, as well as returning to Frisco if the opportunity arises.
Not FCS, but also going to Vegas at the end of October to see FCS-school UND take on Arizona State in the US Hockey Hall of Fame Game at T-Mobile Arena.

I will make it to all of the Jacks home games and leaning towards making my first ever trip to the FargoDome when the Jacks head north.
All the home playoff games and hopefully a trip to Frisco in January.

JSU @ TUNA is likely the only one I can make. My new position has me working until 2 on Saturdays and we have all day games at home this year. I went to practically every home game for 15 years so I'm disappointed.

Here was my view from Wallace Wade Stadium on Friday night (9/2) for Duke’s (unfortunately) dominant 30-0 win over visiting Temple.
Wallace Wade Stadium is a very nice venue for football, though they probably should have kept the bleachers in areas where there were chairbacks (the seats shown in blue in the photo) because the “nicer” seats lacked leg room (a common issue when chairback seats replace bleachers).

As things continue to evolve...
Added
12/11 NJ Jets at Buffalo Bills - ticket bought, love my late season trips to Orchard Park!
Hopeful
Holy Cross at Colgate 9/24....fingers crossed I pull it off!
NC State at Syracuse 10/15....a Lehigh at Cornell, NC State at Syracuse double-header possible? Likely won't know until a week before when the tv times are announced.
Not likely
10/29 Notre Dame at Syracuse....ND is going nowhere and there's cheaper, better options available when it comes to attending a game at the Dome...

So sad on a beautiful day!
I found a cheap single ticket for UNLV at Notre Dame 10/22 so I am going to make the trip out to South Bend for the weekend. This means no Tulsa at Temple Friday night the 21st.
Likely heading to the NC State at Syracuse game this Saturday night (10/15). I have a free ticket if I want it....

The Goodman Stadium stands are set back further from the field than at many football stadiums, especially those without a track.
People who have closer ties to Lehigh can confirm this, but I believe the primary reason the seats are so far back from the field at Goodman Stadium is to allow the stadium to host soccer games with a full sized soccer field.
Incidentally, I sat on the "home" side of the field; the press box on the other side of the field (seen in the photo) was only added in the last 3-4 years. The only chairback seats at Goodman Stadium are on the west side of the stadium (i.e. the side of the stadium where I was sitting when the photo was taken).

Except Lehigh doesn't play soccer there. Were they trying to get a USL franchise or something to play there?

Great shot of Annapolis! I am a guest of KSU Saturday night for the Wildcat's game against Texas in Manhattan. I made the trip from Manhattan/Junction City today to Lincoln to check out the University of Nebraska. U of N is very much a "Big 12 school" culturally, resource wise and size wise relative to their place in the Big 10. I do not know how, or if even possible, the institution can bridge such a huge gap in overall resources to become elite again. They are a minnow in a conference of sharks....

I'm not sure if that's entirely true.
Is the monetary support for Nebraska football really all that less than the counterparts in the Big 10? I find that hard to believe. Maybe Ohio St and Michigan are better positioned, but is Nebraska really struggling to keep up with Iowa, Rutgers, Maryland, Minnesota, Indiana, Illinois, et al? No way.
This is the school that sells out their spring football game.
Tennessee and Nebraska felt like they were mirror images of each other. Household name in the 90s that really fell flat for the better part of the last 20 years.
Not to oversimplify things, but sometimes it comes down to just having a damn good coach. Tennessee looks to have that with Heupel. Nebraska has swung and missed with their head coaches lately. Really curious to see who they hire next season.

The difference is Tennessee has maintained ties to institutions that are similar in terms of size and breadth of influence. When walking around campus, Nebraska feels "small" and "lesser than" in just about every category other than athletic facility seating capacity. Nebraska feels very much more inline with Kansas State, KU, Oklahoma State and Iowa State than it does Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Penn State, U of Minnesota etc. The only somewhat peer institutionally imo is Iowa given size and cultural influences. The Big 10 schools are massive institutions with virtually endless resources so long as they don't "screw up". The majority of the Big 10 schools graduate enrollments exceed 10k students, or 50% or more of NU's undergrad population.
As I drove from the Manhattan area to Lincoln yesterday I couldn't help but think about the Big Red Army traversing the plains and overtaking many of these college towns during the 70s, 80s and 90s and early 00s. There was not just dominance on the field, it occurred in every sense. Only those in Norman, OK which is about 450 miles away were able to withstand the Husker advancements.
The biggest thing Nebraska has going for it is the fact the institution is located in a state capital with a population of nearly 300k. The ability to use the political influence of the state has the capacity to get things done that might otherwise be ignored.

I think the big issue with Nebraska football is that it is located in a low population state. (This is the significant difference between Nebraska and Tennessee, a significantly more populated state.) There is only so much a program can do to compete with programs in much bigger population states with much greater potential revenue, unless they have some sort of (often unfair) advantage they can exploit. (Nebraska football did have such an advantage years ago, which was being willing to take very marginal players academically that other schools wouldn't touch.)
I personally wouldn't be surprised if/when the SP (super power) 2 forms with the strongest of the P5 programs if Nebraska ultimately gets left out in the cold. IMO they have relatively little to offer compared to other true power or marquee current "P5" programs in college football.

Just got back to the hotel from the Texas at K-State game. K-State had their chance but questionable use of timeouts by Klieman during the last possession cost them. K-State has a beautiful stadium and great, friendly fan base. First class through and through. Between the Phils losing the World Series to the Astros and K-State falling to Texas the Lone Star State got the best of me today....Temple won though! And ND did beat Clemson....
