2021 (Freshman): Saw action in six games as a true freshman as an offensive reserve and mostly on special teams ... Credited with five total tackles including four solo stops, posting a career-best two tackles at VMI (Nov. 20) ... Caught one pass for seven yards and tallied a pair of kickoff returns as an up-back, returning one kick a career-long 16 yards at The Citadel (Oct. 23) ... Made his collegiate debut against Mercer (Oct. 9) ... Caught his first collegiate pass at Wofford (Oct. 30) on a seven-yard reception ... Converted to linebacker during the off-season.

Prior to Western Carolina: Played as a dual threat quarterback as a prep as a four-year varsity letter winner … Over 33 career games, passed for 2,592 yards on 161-of-327 (49.2%) with 30 TD passes, adding 989 rushing yards and 13 scores … Finished his career with 3,592 total yards, adding 118 total tackles including 77 solo stops with 16.0 tackles for loss and five sacks … In seven games as a senior, passed for 1,225 yards and 13 touchdowns … Threw for over 1,300 yards with 16 touchdowns as a junior, adding seven rushing scores and 627 yards on the ground in 12 games … Also played basketball and baseball as a prep.

2021 SEASON (FRESHMAN): Punted in all 15 games...Averaged 40.2 yards per punt...Longest punt was 53 yards in the NCAA championship game against Montana State...Had four punts of 50-plus yards...Pinned 18 punts inside the 20 with only two touchbacks on 50 attempts...Helped limit Bison opponents to just 5.87 yards per return...Also had 22 kickoffs with five touchbacks and an average of 62.7 yards per attempt...Executed one fake punt rushing for 18 yards and a first down against South Dakota to extend a touchdown-scoring drive in the third quarter.

2020-21 SEASON (REDSHIRT): Member of the Bison program, but did not play in any games...Named to the Missouri Valley Football Conference honor roll.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated in 2020 from Sherwood (Ore.)
