National Player of the Week Honors Announced
College Sporting News

Towson University quarterback Sean Schaefer, Eastern Kentucky quarterback Allan Holland, Nicholls State defensive backs Ladarius Webb and Kareem Moore, and Georgia Southern University placekicker Jesse Hartley are the recipients of College Sporting News national Football Championship Subdivision honors for the week ending October 7, 2007.

Congratulations, Allan! I don't think EKU has had a "I-AA All-Star" (isn't that what they used to be called?) since about 2002.

I don't understand how Allen's numbers are better than Nichols of EWU? Do you have to win the game to win the award?

Matt Nichols EWU 59-37-0 451 2 62% completion rate against the #1 team in the nation

Allan Holland EKU 44-30-0 321 2 68% completion

Allan Holland EKU 44-30-0 321 2 68% completion

Oh yeah, and Nichols is only a soph. as well as most of his WR's. EWU is going to be the team to beat next year.
