Who would you choose? The guy with the yards or the touchdowns?

Brian White PSU 35-52-442 4 TDs 3 INTs
Lionel Scott NAU 20-172 2 TDs
Russel Hill ISU 20-29-267 3 TDs 0 INTs
Olaniyi Sobomehin 9-42 1 TD 10-89 2 TDs
Matt Nichols EWU 37-59-451 2 TDS 0 INTs
Aaron Boyce EWU 17-232 1 TD
Cameron Higgins WSU 13-20-245 4 TDs 0 INTs
Tim Toone WSU 6-128 4 TDs

Of course my bias would lead to Tim Toone, but all look to be worthy to me.

EDIT: Edited to include Aaron Boyce.

I think Nichols due to his yards as well as no INT's.

Nichols for sure - that guy was a pure magic man yesterday.

Is Nichols a threat to run too?

Nichols probably had the best performance, but since they typically give these things to winning teams, Tim Toone might be the best choice.

Kinda. We didn't see too much of it yesterday, but they had a few option plays throw in, and a few times he scrambled for a first down. However, I think Boyce, the wide receiver for EWU, should be up there as well.

Matt Nichols did an amazing job and deserves props for doing so well against what once was (since last season) a stout and stubborn defense.

Not sure he would be offensive player of the week but...

Tremayne Kirkland PSU---

14 catches 225 yards 1 TD recep
4 rushes 20 yards 1 TD rushing

Didn't see his stats mentioned and I thought they deserved to be.

Nichols, he played against the best defense in the most hostile environment.

EWU is going to be the team to beat the next two years. I watched Nichols in highschool. I thought he was good then. Damn.

These Big Sky Players of the Week awards need to be renamed "Big Sky Players of the Week on a Winning Team" award. Both Aaron Boyce and Matt Nichols should hands down be the Co-Offensive Players of the week award if it was truly the best player(s) not best player(s) on a winning team. I mean Aaron Boyce won The Sports Network FCS National Offensive Player of the Week and didn't even win his conference player of the week honor. That is down right comicalxlolx . Go Eagles!!!

Toone had three more touchdowns. 3. Tres. 18 points. Had Boyce had just two touchdowns, his team would have won the game. I think it's the touchdowns rather than the "winning team" nonsense.
