ELON, N.C.- William & Mary found itself on the wrong side of a pitching duel Wednesday afternoon, dropping the opening game of the CAA Tournament 3-2 to Northeastern in Elon, N.C. Zach Tsakounis, Tom Mayer, and Nate Knowles combined to scatter just four hits and strike out eight to just two walks, but the Tribe could not find offense at the opportune moments.
