OK, so they're not going to run the table this year. However, the odds for them beating Stanford have gone down considerably.

They can still go 1-11, which would be still be the worst Notre Dame season ever.

With that win, Notre Dame is now bowl eligible.

With that win, Notre Dame is now bowl eligible.

They could have still lost the game, won out, gone 6-6 and been bowl eligible. Now, they can still lose to Duke and make a bowl assuming they beat USC, Boston College, Navy, Stanford, and Air Force!
