Youngstown, Ohio – The RMU softball team staved off elimination twice Friday to advance to the championship of the 2022 Horizon League Tournament, earning victories over No. 2 seed Cleveland State and No. 6 seed Northern Kentucky at YSU Softball Field. In their first win of the day, the Colonials knocked off the Vikings, 5-2, before earning a 2-1 triumph over the Norse. RMU improved to 31-20 (.608) overall during the 2022 season with the pair of victories.
