I think my heart is beating again!xlolx

It looks like we finally started playing smart football in the fourth quarter of this game. We need this to flow through a good week of practice and into next Saturday. Next week is huge. At Norfolk State. NSU is now leading the conference.xconfusedx xconfusedx

I can't ever remember a time when The Battle of the Bay had conference championship implications, even back in the CIAA days.

Nevermind. I found it.

This is one of the largest crowds for a non-Ivy game at Princeton in quite some time.

xnodx I read that Princeton's Coach said that it was a Big Time College Football environment...

“This was a big-time college football atmosphere,” a disappointed head coach Roger Hughes said afterwards.

I was there and Hampton is the real deal. They were the better team, wearing Princeton down in the second half with discipline and talent. Their fans were great and enthusiastic and it was a wonderful atmosphere - best since PU opened the new ballpark. I know the two teams meet again in '11, but I hope there will be future matchups as well. Best of luck to Hampton for the rest of this season! :)

Biggest, I believe, since Yale in 1999, which was over 21,000.

Certainly a big win by Hampton. Im not surprised by the victory but I though Princeton would pull it out. Anyway it is nice to see an Ivy play someone other than a Patriot team.

The bigger surprise would be Lafayette playing someone other than an Ivy team.. and Marist..

I caught some of the Hampton game. The stadium sounded very loud.

At least I feel convinced voting for this team in the polls.

I understand this was Steve Atkinson's fault-- I believe the schedule with the exception of Marist was her doing. . Bruce is a W&M alum, maybe he'll take us there for a game.

I believe this is just the second time an Ivy team played a MEAC school and the first since Yale played Morgan State in 1984 (Yale won 41-0).
