Great run by Bolton then Griff Yancey with a few broken tackles and hit a great seam for the TD. JMU 14-7

BDKJMU
October 6th, 2007, 01:28 PM
32 yard run Bolton, followed by 36 yard run by Yancy, TD JMU! 14-7 JMU.

BDKJMU
October 6th, 2007, 01:37 PM
Despite JMU mssing its top 2 tailbacks, Holloman and Sullivan (ankle- back next week?), its Bolton/Noble/Yancy running back by commitee. Plus there's still Hicks, don't know if he's been in yet. Nice to have 6 capable tailbacks at the start of the season, down to 4 for this game.

JMU also missing top receiver LC Baker (hamstring back next week?) and 3rd-5th best receiver (depending on whom you talk to) Patrick Ward, (shoulder- maybe out for season). Still JMU has played 5 receivers up to this point.

NU driving at JMU 15. I was a little worried about the JMU offense. Offense has been good. Defense hasn't shown up.

Don't pull a Delaware and say you didn't win because of Holloman.

Huskies putting up a really good fight. I expected a tight tame.

blur2005
October 6th, 2007, 03:10 PM
Northeastern has apparently run 27 more plays than JMU. That is nuts.

BTW, the quick punt team was just stopped by the referee and caused the Dukes to have a delay of game. That's terrible.

Mickey is aware of that - this was his first win ever in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

IF they lose, they will.

They didn't lose, and the point is moot. Now why don't go watch your own team stink up the joint.

Like someone said earlier...a win is a win and we'll take it.

Delaware and Richmond both get thumped today......Dukes on top for now. Should be a great finish.

Go Dukes

Close game, as I expected..... A JMU fan or two made the xeekx sign when I predicted a close game on this one. NU is tough at home....

October 6th, 2007, 06:18 PM
Similarly, there were Delaware people frowning on predictions of UNH beating them. Clearly, the CAA just isn't as easy to predict.

RadMann

Knew the UD - UNH game would be close... which it was sort of lol

Congrats to JMU on the win. You guys hung on to keep that TD lead the
2nd half.

Horrible play calling by NU near the red zone on multiple occaisions. xsmhx

Surprised JMU didn't have Landers throw more.

Mo Murray pounded the ***** out of JMU today. Our offensive line controlled the line all day.

You guys just need to get healthy and you'll be fine.

Actually Radman, I believe you predicted a JMU loss, hence the xeekx .

I never knew woot stood for anything...to me, it's just a replacement for "Yeah", or "Go team!".

I'm pretty sure that's what he meant to, since no one in JMU land would claim we owned them. We were fortunate to get out of there with a win - that's a tough place to play.
