Lane Brewster delivered a go-ahead RBI double in the bottom of the eighth inning to push the Sam Houston Bearkats to a 5-3 win over Lamar on Sunday afternoon at Don Sanders Stadium, salvaging the weekend series for SHSU and keeping the Kats in sole possession of first place in the WAC Southwest Division.
