Huge news! I was busy last night working on student-athlete retention rates when this bombshell dropped! I wonder if the "new era" of college athletics helped to expedite this decision? As it is, Lehigh grad Kyle Neptune takes over! I will obviously be very locked-in to see how he and the Wildcat program moves forward. 'Nova is "bigger than Wright" but this is a huge loss. Temple has been chasing "good" but not "great" (obviously not 'Nova title great) since Chaney retired 15+ years ago. I have vivid memories of the Steve Lappas time on the Main Line.....

Hearing things that Wright may try his hand at coaching in the NBA, possibly as a lead assistant. He earned high praise from Popovich and Kerr, as well as the players on the Olympic team last year. It may have planted a seed in his mind to at least check it out.
