RICHMOND, Va. – The 18th-ranked University of Richmond men's lacrosse team ran its series winning streak to eight-straight games against Mercer Saturday afternoon as the Spiders used a strong second half defeating the Bears 22-9 at Robins Stadium in Southern Conference action. The game marked the final SoCon regular season meeting between the Spiders and Bears as Mercer has announced it is leaving for the Atlantic Sun Conference next season.
