This poll makes one question the sanity of our coaches...Maybe it's because they're coaches and we're not. xreadx

You mean like Rich Kotite?

"I'm a coach, you're not a coach." - Rich Kotite circa 1993

I personaly liked Will Farrell in Kicking and Screaming:

Phil Weston: You're my assistant. You're supposed to back me up and go get me juiceboxes whenever I want. Now go get me a juicebox!

Mike Ditka: DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU'RE TALKING TO?

Phil Weston: I'm talkin' to the juicebox guy!

Mike Ditka: You're crazy!

Phil Weston: I'm not crazy, I'm just thirsty!

Mike Ditka: OH, YOU GO TO HELL!

Phil Weston: No, you go to hell, and while you're there, why don't you grab me a juicebox!

It's nice to see your team ranked highly, but the beautiful thing about FCS is that we have a playoff.

igo4uni doesn't get too excited about polls.

Unless, of course UNI is ranked #1!!!!!!!!

IMO, UNI with that long road stretch and the high quality of foe's should be ranked higher!!! Can the #1 ranking be shared? thats a thought!

Wrong. After upsetting beating #6 UD to go 8-1:

"JMU Jumps To No. 4 In I-AA Poll"

http://nl.newsbank.com/nl-search/we/Archives?p_product=VNRB&p_theme=vnrb&p_action=search&p_maxdocs=200&p_text_search-0=JMU%20AND%20football&s_dispstring=JMU%20football%20AND%20date(11/9/2004%20to%2011/9/2004)&p_field_date-0=YMD_date&p_params_date-0=date:B,E&p_text_date-0=11/9/2004%20to%2011/9/2004)&xcal_numdocs=20&p_perpage=10&p_sort=YMD_date:D&xcal_useweights=no

After getting upset by #10 W&M by 3 then beating Towson JMU finished 8th I remember in at least one if not both major polls and was sent on the road to play Lehigh, who was ranked 16th or 17th at the time, one of the several examples of how the only way JMU will get a home game is to get a seed.

They have a football team? I only live 20 miles from there. I thought that was a high school team? Wait, I looked at the Sagarins and they do have a team...0-4 and out of 242 I-A and I-AA teams they're ranked....242. xlolx

Surprised to see Illinois State still in there. Quality losses are one thing, but THREE of them??!!

And Drake wasn't even a "quality" loss, 88. It was a an out-and-out azzwhoopin'.

Can't figger that out, either.

One word for this consistent shafting of JMU: bull****.
