It was with deep sorrow and shock that we learned last week of the tragic death of Joshua Emmanuel Owusu-Koramoah, a recent W&M graduate who touched the lives of so many here at his alma mater. A chemistry major who graduated in the Spring of 2020, Joshua was known across campus as a thoughtful, courageous, and caring man. As a student, he was actively involved with the PLUS Program and the Center for Student Diversity, the African American Male Coalition, the William & Mary Tribe football program, and the Baptist Collegiate Ministry (BCM). After his graduation in 2020, he remained active on campus, serving as a staff intern for BCM. His calling to serve others had most recently led him to a teaching position at Hampton Christian Academy.
