The race was shortened because of rain. It was set to run 210 laps, a caution came out and NASCAR informed drivers there will NOT be a Green/White/Checkered finish.

Coming towards the line on lap 210 Greg Biffle ran out of gas and was passed by several drivers yet NASCAR said the field was frozen and Biffle still wins.

Jimmie Johnson and Clint Boyer were reported to be irate with NASCAR officials and I gotta say I agree, if you run out of gas sucks to be you.

Agreed, that was a poor call on NASCAR's part, but alas what's it gonna chnage by bitching about it.

BTW im not surprised my 200th post is about NASCAR.

I never liked the "freeze the field" rule or the "lucky dog" rule. I prefered the old way - race back to the line. I don't watch as much NASCAR as I used to and the rule changes are part of the reason.

I agree Travis. I watched that race and the ending was pathetic; not exactly what you expect to see at the end of a Nextel race. I felt bad for those in attendance, especially when you consider what they paid for a ticket.
