ATLANTA - The game was over when Tennessee State junior place-kicker Eric Benson set up for his 27-yard field-goal attempt with eight seconds left in Saturday's Atlanta Classic.
At least Tennessee State coach James Webster and his players thought so. There were even those on Florida A&M's bench who thought the Rattlers' five-year winning streak was about to be snapped as well. Four years of history perhaps should have taught everybody to think otherwise...

ATLANTA - Oh sure, Philip Sylvester starred again for the Rattlers. But there were a few other unsung heroes in Saturday's dramatic 18-17 victory for Florida A&M in Saturday's Atlanta Classic at the Georgia Dome.
Freshman cornerback Qier Hall topped the list. His 83-yard punt return for a third-quarter touchdown gave the Rattlers a lift that had been missing most of the afternoon. Then there was second-string quarterback Leon Camel, who came on to direct the offense for his first college football victory. Tight end Taj Jenkines has a hand in some pivotal plays, too...

TSU started off strong. They score quick, for a minute it looked as if they were going to rack up some points!xnodx Great job by FAMU!.

True! TSU couldnt stop #30 from running the ball but instead odd keep pounding the football, FAMU went to the air.............bad move. The QB did more running around than he did passing. And the double reverse pass was a terrible play callxsmhx
