Outstanding fight.. Pavlik is a big-time puncher.. but we knew that.. what impressed me was his ability to survive nearly being KO'ed himself in the 2d round. Pavlik was hurt big-time by Taylor in that rouund.. but was able to get up off the canvas and comeback strong. The rematch should be great.

Great to see Kelly bring home another title to Ytown! The city is pumped right now. Did you hear all the Pavlik fans at the fight? They said there were 5500 tickets sold in Ytown and the arena held less than 11k.

I thought Pavlik was done in the 2nd also, but his will and toughness took him to the end of the round.

Taylor couldn't defend Kelly's left jab and right which he connected on all night. In that decisive 7th round Kelly caught him with a flurry of jabs and rights knocking Taylor into the corner and those 2 uppercuts put Taylor to sleep.

I have to say Taylor was a gracious loser. He did say he kept wasting punches, but I think he underestimated Pavlik like all his opponents do
