Penn State getting knocked off today by Illinois (granted they have improved), will be causing major consternation in Nittany Nation. PSU now 3-2, and those three wins are against PATHETIC teams (FIU, Buffalo, ND). Unless they make some major adjustments quickly, they could be flushing their season down the drain before the leaves have stopped turning.

Not surprising - they never should have been ranked as high as they were. Morelli's no good

Really? I never felt PSU was covered all that much by the Philly media.

Hmm, when I lived in Philly I actually craved more Penn State talk, but then again I grew up in central Pa and it was all Penn State all the time. understand where you are coming from though as Penn State isnt all that close to Philly but there are ceratinly a lot of alums in the area.

I agree with FT...I don't think the Philly media is so 'gung ho' PSU..of course in football, there is no other FBS school (no, Temple). But I wouldn't call it overkill.
