GREENVILLE, N.C. -- Richmond sophomore Rory Weinfurther played 36 holes in even par to lead the short-handed Spiders on the first day of the Ironwood Invitational at Ironwood Golf & Country Club. After being tied atop the leaderboard following a 70 (-2) in the opening round, Weinfurther shot 74 (+2) in Round 2 and is currently tied for ninth in the field of 77.
