I say this because the score is 0-0 at the end of the first quarter. USC is usually up by 21 at the end of the first. :)

Washington might hang around enough to keep it interesting but USC will ultimately win.

I just switched this game on, and UDub got a TD to go up 7-0. Awesome.

USC drives right down the field for a TD of their own. 7-7 midway through the 2nd.

Question about Husky stadium....

I noticed that they have the large overhangs over the stands. Are those to keep the rain out or keep the noise in or both????

It's to keep the rain out. Most stadia in the Pacific Northwest have roofs or overhangs of some sort.

The Trojans just went up 14-7, and the Huskies' defense is looking porous.

The real story tonight is the Florida-Auburn game. The Tigers have historically been a thorn in the Gators side. So far that's holding true tonight.

Washington just tied it up with an interception return for a TD.

Well, how about that? The Huskies just tied it with an interception return.

For the record, I'm not a Husky fan; I'm partial to Wazzu. However, I want Tyrone Willingham to win a couple of national championships, just to teach Notre Dame a lesson.

24-14 USC over Washington with 1:45 to go in the 3rd.

Three minutes left, and a USC drive ends with an interception in the end zone. It's not over yet.

Interception was over ruled. USC capitalizes and goes up by 10.

I spoke too soon. The interception was reviewed, and reversed. Trojans kicked a field goal. 27-17.

If Washington wants to stay in the game they need to convert on 4th and 16 here.

Huskies turned it over on downs. Valiant effort, but they didn't generate enough offense to expect to win this one.

This game went as expected. Washington hung around but USC's defense was too much for the Huskies to put points on the board.

Yea, starting QB only has 83 yards passing.

Those Huskies look pretty damn good - it will be a dogfight .... (pun) when we meet them in Seattle on October 20th.

I mean, they just barely beat a mediocre Huskies team that got trounced by Ohio State and all.... ;)

The Huskies QB is the only talented player on UW's team. He kept them in the game.

Yes, They deserve the number 1 ranking until somebody takes it away from them.

The number 1 team will always have some close games. Everyone else play is up for them.
