Key injuries for Vikings---WR Kirkland is slated for emergency use only after injuring his groin against San Diego State and LB Schantz out for this game and at least the next two due to knee injury. Some high powered offenses for both sides could mean for a very long game time wise.

It was not the offense that lost that game. The offense put up 35 points on the board. It was the defense that had 6 new starters that let Texas State put up 38 points on the board that lost that game. I was trying to say that Cal Poly has a good offense. The defense is getting better each week as the young players are maturing.
