The five games I'm definitely keeping my eyes on...outside of SHSU (of course)...
Delaware State at Hampton
Frostburg St at Duquesne -- Frostburg St is my fiancee's alma mater and I didn't realize they had an FCS on the schedule!
UMass at Boston College
North Dakota St at Western Illinois
Northern Iowa at Illinois State
Looking forward to a great FCS weekend -- safe travels to all fans, teams and others. Best of health to all on the gridiron (and in the press box!)...

Anyone following the Lehigh game? I had to work today and couldn't get to the game. How do they look today? I'm going to watch it when i get home but until then i'm dying not being there.
13-6 Lehigh at the half.
It's all defense. Neither O unit has put one in. Both started off with strong D keeping pressure on the QB's. Sedale looks a lot better today. Boots are excellent, Pastore back in the groove. So far, it's been a field position battle by the punters. Lehigh's Leo knocked one from the 18 down to Harvards 14! Good game, few major errors, next punting series Leo slipped and only move it 20. And Lehigh's D turned a 10yd sack into a facemask/1st down for Harvard. Other than those, solid game by both teams.

Montana 3
The game is like watching Madden when your opponent only knows 3 plays, but keeps getting 7-8 yards everytime.
Weber has run about 10 out routes. Hats off to them. If we don't stop, I would run it over and over.

How's the weather in Missoula? Snow was predicted by game time earlier in the week. I was wondering if that has had any impact on the game. Could possibly be a reason why Weber is running the quick outs so often.

This one really surprises me. Cal Poly was up 33-3 at the half against Weber State on their way to a 47-19 win. I think the Griz will come out strong in the second half and put a lot of points on the board and win.

Too many miscues...and losing our QB in the third did not help...
Report on Liam Coen is inconclusive...he's "hurting" but not sure if its a new injury or he reinjured his knee from a few weeks ago...

Cat defense won the game last week. The offense certainly didn't help.

First time all year the Griz have to make some adjustments at halftime. Remains to be seen.
Weber must have made some adjustments after the CP game as the defense played pretty well against Montana State last week, and now this.

Seems like a typical fall day in Missoula. People are wearing coats, but nothing heavy. No snow.

I believe so as well.
Right now, we keep shooting ourselves in the foot with penalties.
Although the announcers did say that it looked as if Montana was playing uninspired football.

ACC refs ALWAYS screw opposing teams. Worst officials in college football.

BC is a ranked team. You have to look on the FBS board to get scores of AP ranked teams (a software glitch).

Still, a 10 point loss to FBS#12 should not drop you very far, if any. Depends on the rest of the games today, but you should still be close to the top.

I understand your feelings, but this should not hurt UMass in the polls much, if at all, IMO.

This is definitely not meant as a slight of Montana's schedule (which is fashionable to do, but I think they did what they were supposed to), but do you think the players get tired of facing subpar competition in their OOC schedule??
For people that are really competitive, it gets pretty old beating somebody 49-10 every weekend...

Rhode Island 49 Brown 42 - Final 2 OT
Just got back from the game. What a disappointing ending to the game. Brown up 35-27 with about 5 minutes to go. URI drives about 75 yards and scores with 1:01 left in the game, converts the two-point conversion, goes to OT. Brown scores a TD in about 5 plays, but URI scores on their first play in the 1st OT. Then, URI scores on a 3rd down in the 2nd OT, and Brown is on the 3 yard line with a second down, but on fourth down, they end up just short and lose. Our defense played awful in this game, but our offense helped with a lot of big, explosive plays. Godd crowd at the game for the Governor's Cup.

I'm sure they do get tired of it, but I am remembering what Coach Hauck said about Weber. He said it doesn't matter what you see on tape, they will bring something completely different for Montana.

Weber was tough against the run, but Poly threw for 328 yards and 6 TDs and only threw it 20 times completing 13. They can beat deep. Cole needs to put in the air deep on Weber.
