No. 18 Joshua Ogunsanya punched his ticket to the NCAA Division I Wrestling National Championships with a pair of wins, and two other Columbia Wrestlers advanced to the semifinals following the first day of the Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association Championships host by Cornell and held in Newman Arena. The Lions still have eight grapplers in contention for a podium finish and currently sit fifth overall with 52.5 points having three grapplers in the semifinals and five in the consolation rounds.
