This should be a good game. Always fun when Big 5 rivals get together.

Nova get the benefit of a questionable Pass Interference call then scores on the next play. Game tied at 7.

Didn't look questionable at all from the press box.

Penn goes ahead 14-7. Nova's skill players look impressive. Penn appears more physical. The Penn RB's are real throwbacks.

Big run by Villanova's Matt Dicken for 43 yards to the Penn 26. Offensive fireworks.

Yes, the Villanova fans have been hooting on every call against them.

Beautiful night, 2 schools located in one of the nation's major cities, traditional rivals in many sports, why are the stands half empty?

If it's at Franklin Field there still could be 16-17k and the stadium will empty.

There were a lot of people milling around outside near game time that WERE NOT going to the game. Villanova side is full. Not many Quaker folks here.

Let's see how Penn handles being backed up at the one after a punt.

And how many people watched that? There were probably more people at my La Salle game last night.

Eugene Clay with his first career interception for VU. The Wildcats are near midfield.

Al Bagnoli is giving it to the officials pretty good after a horrible spot gave Villanova a first down when they should have been facing 4th and one near midfield.

Mark down that drive, with Villanova getting to the one on first and goal and getting only three points.

Villanova wins 34-14...from the highlights I saw, VU had way too many weapons for Penn, who clearly has problems on offense two weeks in a row. Wildcats now have huge game next week at James Madision. A win there and they will be considered as a real threat for post season play.

Nova played an UGLY first half. If not for D, it could have been a real bad scenario. Young did not look good at all, even the completions required some very athletic grabs by the recievers. Hoping it's just growing pains,he did settle down in the second half.
Defense tied a school record 7 int's.

We gave Penn 800 or so tickets. You want to know how many they sold? 28 tickets total, TWENTY EIGHT! They gave the rest back to Nova.
