Albany has scholarships. It is not the full slate, but they have scholarships.

23 rides over 40 guys this season. Will be at the NEC max of 30 next year (probably split 4 fulls...and then give 3 straight fulls if I had to guess).

NEC rumored to be headed to 45 in 2009...maybe sooner if minimum rides are needed for a playoff bid.

Agreed. I'm glad Ford and Coach Mac agreed to move the UA/CCSU game to the NEC finale. It may decide the NEC champ at the end of the season and almost more imporatnly will give both teams a much needed bye next week.

With UA adding about 10-15 scholarship kids next year (about 30 rides split among 50 kids), I like our direction. We have absolutely closed the gap...and have played every OOC game tough the last two years.

We are a few years away...but the direction is excellent. If we ever get the stadium...who knows what Fordie could do.

Albany is a good team. Can't really compare you to the other Big Sky Teams because we haven't played any conference games yet. I read lots of people posting here at AGS that the Griz beat cupcakes, but I really respect Albany and coach Ford after seeing you play. xthumbsupx

The Danes looked great and should be pleased with their effort! UA's QB spreads the ball around and can handle pressure! It was a fun game to watch but it took awhile for both offenses to get in gear. Credit the Defenses. Good luck with rest of the season and Its obvious the talent level has risen at UA!
