The change in branding suggests an inferiority complex. Everything else about the NCAA's ``Football Championship Subdivision,'' formerly named Division I-AA and still called that by almost everyone, is looking less and less inferior.
No one around Western Michigan University (0-3) appears sure of the quality of tonight's opponent, Central Connecticut State. Wins against Southern Connecticut State and Merrimack tell very little.
But there is a sense of wariness about the Blue Devils (2-1), thanks to the recent work of their Division I-AA brethren.
