With Runningbacks Lamar Lewis, Mike Hamilton hurt and now Zeke Rozier out for the season with a torn ACL 4th string running back Chris Teal is expected to start. Last years RB Chris Covington (playing safety this year on D) has been playing in practice with the offense. Horrible news for the Eagles as they open conference play! My prediction went from BLOWING OUT chatty to now just squeaking by. :(

Don't worry your one man team is still in the line upxthumbsupx
Just kiddingxnodx
Seriously, I hate to hear about injuries like that on a team. Hopefully Lewis and Hamilton will get back in the line-up soon.

Coming from the opponent that lost their first and second string QBs to injury in a loss to C-N...and had to start their 3rd string QB against JSU...I can understand your pain.
(though I would feel for ya more if you weren't playing my alma mater)
Still though, did those other guys even get to touch the ball on running plays...aren't they just decoys? ;)

Hatcher said that we would be using Teal and Covington. Covington started last year so we know he's not a bad back. And Teal is a true freshman that was competitive in the race for the starting position, too. Just goes to show you how deep we really are at running back.
Also, you didn't mention that we have two players out on D including Taylor and Chubb. If something happens to Teal then we will need someone to replace Covington at safety. Could be a rough day for the Eagles on D tommorow, but hopefully it'll be another 40+ point game for GSU and 400+ yard rushing game.
Most of these guys (exept for Rozier, of course) should be back for Western.

You still have the "triple option".
Jayson Foster left,
Jayson Foster right,
Jayson Foster up the middle

or the fourth.......
Jayson Foster throws a pass that no one, including him, has any idea where it is going!

I knew they were hurt but I didn't know they were out. This is bad news going into conference play.
