CHARLOTTE – The Big South announced the winners for their weekly women's lacrosse awards on Tuesday morning, naming Gardner-Webb's Maddie Martin the Defensive Player of the Week. This is the fourth time in school history that GWU has had the conference's Defensive Player of the Week and the first since March of 2020.
