How about the CAA. Of 12 teams, 5 teams ranked in the top 15, and another 4 getting votes. 12-1 OOC against other I-AA. Looking by far the best I-AA conference this season so far. :) xnodx

I wouldn't say by far, by any means. 5 of the 7 teams in the Gateway are in the top 20. 3 teams in the top 10. With just one team not recieving votes. So while the Gateway doesn't have as many teams as the CAA, its almost, if not just as tough.

Do we really have to go here again? Why are you guys so quick to bring this us every week?
--Just an FYI--
Gateway-4 of 7 teams in the top 15 and 5 in the top 19. You do the math please. Let me know if you want to add our new teams for next year into that equation so that the number of teams in the conference is a little more even!xlolx

it's THE Citadel and this poll sucks too!
I went to a college hazing workshop one time at a national conference, and the attorney that "taught" the session summed it up like this:
"Life is hazing, and then you die."
I reinterpret that in light of citdog's comments to read:
"Life sucks (just like the poll) and then you die."
Socon rules.

I'm sure that everyone at AGS noticed, but in the remote case that it slipped by you.... The PFL has three, yes three teams receiving votes in this poll!! If I counted correctly, Drake is currently at #28, San Diego is at #33 and Dayton is at #44. I have to believe that this is the first time ever that three PFL teams have been receiving votes in a "mainstream" poll since the PFL was founded 15 seasons ago.... I'm sure that you are all as impressed as I am by this development!!!!!xthumbsupx

Coaches poll likes us as well..
But that is not the end game here.... If Drake continues to win, the end game will take care of itself.

Of course. Now if they beat UNI, I would expect them to jump up into the 18-22 ranking range.

If Drake actually beats us, I don't know what I would do. But it would not be good for my health.
Something tells me that if Drake can only beat a DIII school by 13 points, we should be fine. Plus, UNI fans will have just as many if not more fans in Des Moines than Drake.

This is the battle for Iowa after all, isn't it. ISU of UI, UNI over ISU. Whomever wins this contols the corn rations for a whole year. Drake may come in super pumped.

Don't let UNI win then, they'll just send the corn down here to be "processed".
