RICHMOND, Va. – The Richmond Spiders overcame a double-digit deficit against VCU Wednesday night, but after being tied up at 64-all with 2:57 to go in the game, the Rams pulled away for the win, 72-68. The Spiders (13-9, 4-5 A-10) trailed by as much as 14 points in the first quarter before putting together a combined 45 points in the middle quarters for a seven-point lead over the Rams (9-8, 4-3 A-10) in the third.
