NU actually leading 10-7 and USC just got a HUGE break on the kickoff return... although they have a pretty bad looking injury.

This is shaping up to be a great game.

USC up 14-10

This would be a big upset. It's been several years since the number 1 team was beat during the season.

Arkansas-Alabama is a good one also. 31-24 'Bama early in the 4th. Game on ESPN.

USC really caught two huge breaks already. Muffed punt barely recovered, fumbled KO return picked up and run for 30+ yards. xsmhx

You could have driven a tractor trailer through the hole that the back for USC just ran through to score.

Got to see the Kentucky/Louisville highlights... looks like UK won... they took the lead late only to have Louisville return the ensuing KO 100 yards to take the lead back. xeyebrowx

Also after Kentucky got flagged for a personal foul. Louisville blows their coverage and Woodson throws a wide open TD. UK 40 UL 34. 28 seconds left.

Kentucky 40-34 FINAL

Louisville took the lead with 1:45 left, and I thought Kentucky was done, but they got the big play and upset a national title contender!

I remeber some people here asking with some skepticism whether UCS really was "that" good. Hopefully their question was answered.

USC doesn't play another ranked opponent until October 27, when they go against Oregon. In the meantime, they play Washington, who seems better than the last few years but not in contention for the Pac-10 yet, and Washington State, Stanford, Arizona, and Notre Dame, who they should beat pretty easily, although you never know if they could lose like they did to Oregon State last year.
