SDSU's defensive line has gotten the better of the vaunted UNI o-line thus far in the game. If SDSU can get their offense going a bit, it should be an exciting second half.

UNI needs to get focused so they get less penalties, and then just sharpen the defense some more.

Actually, SDSU needs a decent punting game. Rest of it, Jacks, like Panthers, are playing a good mix of running, play action, passes. Defense is playing well.

Agreed. Parker Douglass has by-passed Adam Vinateri's SDSU records last year, and has over 50 FG's and has a streak of 70? PAT's without a miss.

Yes, the Bunnies are as good this year as last year. Better start this year than last year, and happy to see how the Gateway and Jacks match up in the future.

Now onto the Southland and Great West + Ga. Southern.

Very good, but not as tough as SUU's crazy schedule.

Hope to repeat last year's (except knock off Bison in Brookings) to make an 8-3 year.

Good game Panthers...congrats on the road win in Brookings! Darn, the Jacks have kind of run into the Gateway buzzsaw this first part of the season. Still think they can go 7-4 and have a good season which would be something considering an 0-3 start.

After 3 weeks of GFC foes, SDSU should be battle tested and ready to take on all comers the rest of the season...that's for sure!

Looks like the ranked Gateway teams had an excellent day with UNI getting a convincing road win at SDSU, YSU trouncing Stonybrook, SIU pouring it on S. Utah St, IL St. pulling off a HUGE road win over ranked EIU, and WIU punishing their foe 69-0.

MSU versus Kansas St...well, the Bears are getting better...just not this week. And IN St....guess the Sycs are the Sycs...ouch! All in all another pretty darn good week for the Gateway Conference...xthumbsupx
