For the third consecutive season, Big Sky Conference coaches have voted the Weber State Wildcat softball team to be the preseason Big Sky Conference favorite. Receiving four of six available first place votes and 35 total points, the 2021 Big Sky regular season champion Wildcats finished just above last season's conference tournament champion Portland State Vikings.
