Boston— Rachel Helbling (McDonald, Pa.) had a huge day at Boston University's John Thomas Terrier Classic, picking up a first-place finish in the 500m run and a slew of noteworthy accolades. Her mark of 1:11.82 breaks her own program record (passing her 1:12.13 from the 2020 ECAC/IC4A Championship meet) and currently ranks fourth in the world, first in the U.S. and first in the NCAA.
