Decades ago when I was coaching boys basketball at KMS, Mike Dreier was coaching girls at New London-Spicer. I think he is at 999 wins and has won the state. But the real story here is how he took care of a kid when he was in high school, and now coaches four of that "kid's" daughters.

Take the time to look at this. Coaching is much more that just the sport itself, it is how you affect your student athletes for the rest of their lives.

Update- Mike won his 1000th game over Mayer Lutheran, one of the top 1A teams in the state who I just watched nine days ago. ML has a 6'2 gal who is going to Iowa State to play volleyball, and another player who is going to TAMU-International Lardeo to do the same.

This is a record for MN girls basketball- he is #2 overall for basketball wins in the state for both boys and girls.
