Starting quarterback Bernard Morris injured a toe in last week's 48-23 loss to West Virginia and his status remains uncertain for Saturday's game. He practiced little this week.
Backup Brian Anderson, a redshirt freshman, saw action in both games and could get his first career start.
Marshall will face a versatile quarterback for the second straight week. West Virginia's Pat White ran for 125 yards and threw for 149 last week.
New Hampshire's Ricky Santos, last year's player of the year in the former I-AA, completed 36-of-47 passes for 353 yards and two touchdowns in a 41-24 loss to James Madison. He also had a 26-yard scoring run.
