The crazy thing is that's actually illegal in high school ball. Why, I don't know.

Hey now, I'll be cheering for Whoppi Goldberg today, but I would be surprised if she gets more then 10 carries.

Shades of Sam McGuffie:

Unfortunately, McGuffie was hurt earlier this season. I was actually watching a telecast of a Texas high school football game in which he was playing. I turned it on after his ankle injury and he was on the sideline, out for the game.
Another interesting thing: He'd verbally committed to Michigan. Wonder if that's going to hold up.

He had actually already jumped over the defender.

Looks like a scene from "Blades of Glory" with the defender spinning him around.

I loved the interview with the coach at the end referring to the next three weeks as murderer's row. :D
I do commend the CCU program for their scheduling. They clearly could have gone the route of making an easier schedule, but even if the Chants go 0-3 over these upcoming OOC games, they'll be all the stronger for it over the next few years! xthumbsupx

Aww heck, I just hope our boys remember to put all their pads on the next few weeks, b/c the way the next 3 teams hit, we could get some big injuries if we don't have all our pads on in the right places.
Joking aside, I think it is good scheduling as well. And, like you said, worst case scenario we go 0-3 and a very young team gets a lot of experience playing 3 solid teams (2 in hostile environments). I am not sure if anything will prepare us for next years season opener though.
