Dover, Del. (Dec. 17, 2021) — Delaware State men's basketball has accepted an invitation to compete in the 2021 HBCU Legacy Men's Basketball Invitational doubleheader on Sat., Dec. 18 in Newark, N.J., at the Prudential Arena, home of the National Hockey League New Jersey Devils, along with Seton Hall University basketball. The Hornets have agreed to serve as a fill-in for Hampton University, which was forced to bow out due to Covid protocols
