It's time for my (almost) annual poll asking which college or NFL game besides the DI-AA/FCS games taking place that you have the most interest in watching on DI-AA/FCS semifinal and HBCU championship Saturday. (The post also helps people identify all the available games across the NFL and four different college football classifications, which generally are not listed anywhere all in one spot.) The various college and NFL games join a pair of DI-AA/FCS games (Celebration Bowl: South Carolina State/Jackson State, 12 PM ET, ABC; second DI-AA/FCS semifinal: South Dakota State/Montana State, 2 PM ET, ESPN2; those games follow the first DI-AA/FCS semifinal on Friday 12/17: James Madison/North Dakota State, 9:15 PM ET, ESPN2).

The Saturday 12/18/21 schedule features eight non-FCS college football games - a half-dozen DI-A/FBS bowl games, the D2 championship game, and the NAIA championship game. It also includes a pair of NFL games, both of which have playoff implications. That includes a game between two of the hottest teams in the league.

So which of the games listed above holds the most interest to you?

To answer my own poll question, because I'm a bigger NFL fan than college football fan, this question is an easy one for me - Patriots/Colts. It's unfortunate that game was selected to be played on Saturday because the NFL probably should have saved it for Sunday so it could be televised on NBC Sunday Night Football. I also have interest in the Raiders/Browns game.

None of the college games have particularly strong interest to me, but I'll probably keep an eye on most of them, particularly the D2 championship game between Ferris State and Valdosta State, the top two ranked teams in D2 football.

Same - will watch some for the Football aspects, but no emotional investment. Don’t really care who wins any of the games.

I'm being picky because your vote isn't showing up in the poll. :)

Only interest in the NE/INDY game is to see that Wentz keeps playing so the Iggles' chance of getting another first round draft pick improves!

Both these D2 teams are really good. Ferris State came to Fargo a few years ago. Good team. All these bowl games are a joke.

I selected the D-II Championship over the NAIA Championship by coin flip. If the D-III Championship was also on Saturday, it would have required some dice instead of a coin.

I can’t get ESPNU or 3 so I went with the Indy NFL game. Zero interest in any of those FBS bowl games

As a D2 guy, I picked the D2 championship. Just sad that MSU isn't there this year. I'd like to see Ferris win- they have a rivalry with MSU in hockey. Valdosta has won multiple rings. One of their fans does send me chocolate chip cookies!

My second pick has to do with geography. I watched Morningside and Grand Valley last spring- the Mustangs used to be in the NCC so I've seen them for decades.

I haven't watched the NFL for several years. I'm not real interested in those bowl games but they would be better than the pros.

I did see the end of the CFL Grey Cup yesterday- Blue Bombers won in OT. Hamilton had a real chance to win in the last seconds of regulation. They will think about that all winter.

I picked the D-II championship because it is 35 years since my only trip to the D-II championship when I was a freshman at NDSU. That was a long bus ride down to Florence. I think we only stopped twice for food (and to stock up on alcohol at the first stop) and once for diesel fuel. I felt sorry for the waitresses who had to keep answering questions from drunk and sleep-deprived college kids (and some middle-aged dudes) about what grits are when we stopped for breakfast.

The Raiders/Browns game is no longer an option; it has been moved back two days from Saturday 12/18 to Monday 12/20 due to COVID-related issues impacting the Browns.

CCU's win over NIU has been the best game so far.
