Tomorrow is most certainly going to be the most attended game in Appalachian history. My question: How are they going to fit everyone in Kidd Brewer? I guess it's a good problem to have, but it's gonna be a circus tomorrow.

Figure out a way to charge admission to that hillside where the kids were sliding down during the playoffs.

We already do. That's where the extra fans over the 16,650 sit for the most part. Same price as the other seats.

If only Wa-Griz were a little closer to Mt. Sentinel:

I am curious at what number the ticket office decided to cap ticket sales. Did they stop at 30,000? If so, why not 31,000? Or, 29,000 for that matter? Any inside scoop would be appreciated.

that is a really good question but my guess would be they shut it off around 20,000 because they have to leave room for whatever students show up and how many guests they bring bc as a student i am allowed two guest passes no matter what

Did Jerry Moore say whether or not the players have been focused at practice this week?

They may have to push Jerry Moore out on a wheelchair for this one.

Didn't realize he was so old! xlolx

From www.goASU.com...

ASU is 56-18-2 (.750) all-time in home openers under head coach Jerry Moore. Appalachian has won six-straight home openers, dating back to a 34-28 setback to Troy State in 2000.

Still looks pretty pack at KBS...incredible! Wonder what the final count will be as far as attendance goes for this game at The Rock...

Attendance was almost 29,000! Wow. I've never seen KBS that packed. Oh yeah, because it never has been...

How that many people fit in there, I have no clue. I was on the visitor's side on the hill behind the stands. Great view from up there. Honestly, I thought that the crowd was pretty quiet for most of the game (but that's probably because we were winning so handily). Great to see the interest though! Good game Apps!

A few game notes related to AppSt and the home field...

• With the victory, Appalachian extended the nation’s longest overall Division I winning streak to 16 games and extended its home winning streak to 28 games, the longest in Division I FCS and second-longest in Division I (USC – 34 games).

• Saturday’s attendance of 28,802 was the largest crowd in ASU history (prev. 26,620 vs. Elon 9/30/06).
