Saw an interview with Keith Jackson, retired announcer. He said he was not surprised by Appalachian beating Michigan. He said those guys had won back to back 1-AA championships. He said the difference between a team like Michigan and Appalachian is about 10 players, but Michigan was outplayed even with the 10 depth advantage. Those are not exact words, but it was interesting to hear him say that.
