Hey All,

I usually keep my stuff to its own thread but this one is about all FCS so I thought I'd share it here. I break down the FCS playoffs picture and break the eligible teams into six groups (in, in good shape, work to do, needs help, longshots, and not likely). Take a look if that interests you!

Nova a seed? Will they put in a serious bid for a home game? I don’t know but I bet JMU will

Sam Houston should be the #1 seed, just because Montana st plays in a better overall conference doesn’t mean they are better.

Montana State being undefeated in the FCS and in a tougher conference, even if their Big Sky slate hasn’t been as tough as Montana or EWU’s have been, is good enough reason to give them the 1 seed IMO. Tomorrow will be a good test for them. Ifanse banged up, on the road against a top 15 team in a tough environment. If they win they should get the one seed based on their better resume, opinion on who we think the best team is aside.

I do think SHSU should be higher than NDSU, Bison lost a game and have a few question marks offensively it seems based on some Bisonville scanning. How much should SHSU winning it all have an impact? Probably none. But I think there’s a chance the committee has the fact that they gave Sam the 2 seed last year before winning it all in the back of their minds. They are finally out of that SDSU/JSU/KSU class and are now more in the JMU/EWU range. I think we’ll get more respect than the 2016 team that went undefeated because of that.
