55 confirmed fatalities, with 100+ missing and many more stranded. 1.3 million are without power. Damage estimates are anywhere between $25 million and $30 million.

That would $25 to $30 BILLION!!! I'm too sick to even talk about it!! Unbelievably catastrophic!!!

My bad. Meant $25-30 billion.

Now there are reports that the human toll is rising to over 80 in just one Mississippi county. Not to mention Louisiana, which has unconfirmed reports of human loss (e.g. corpses floating in the water, coffins floating from the graveyards, etc.).

I'm really waiting to figure out what happened to my place. No calls going in that's for sure. I hope I didn't lose much. I'm in Jefferson Parish right south of Lake Ponchetrain, west of Causeway.
