Posting mostly because I’m sure there will be a mixture of FCS coaches in consideration for the job.
Worried that Bob Chesney is a name UMass will strongly go after. Whether he takes a near impossible job is another question…although money talks. What was Walt Bell making at UMass?

Thanks.
$625K seems low for an FBS job.
Randy Esdall was pushing seven figures, IIRC.

All the same 11 this is not FCS, so it does not go here for future reference. Just because thing have some tangential affiliation with FCS doesn't mean they should not go on the appropriate boards going forward. If it direct FCS then by all means use this one.xthumbsupx

Good to know, Ursus.
Can you move to the right forum?

Already done my man. I left a redirect for a few hours that will appear in FCS but it will go away later today. That is just to give the thread the most traction for you. It is in other sports now though.

I don't see Chesney wanting that gig. Like UConn, who are they trying to fool? It's now the Power 5 and all the rest living off of live streaming money. Attendance figures are abysmal nationally the lower level FBS and FCS schools. People can now sit and watch drinking beer at home. A sad situation.
