Maryland won 31-14..VU couldn't run the ball at all. VU's last score was an interception run back for a TD with 50 seconds to play.

Nova played a good first half.Terps opening drive of the third qtr. set the tone for the rest of the game though.Terps just too much beef up front on both sides of the ball.

Nova will be a competitive team this season,saw some good signs where there were alot of ?'s going in.

I was at the game, and Nova's play was well beyond my expectations entering this season. Even the Nova coaching staff is basically talking this up as a rebuilding year pointing to 2008/9 (if they can sign some RBs for the next class). I thought Nova would be in a total down mode this year, but they have some good football players, and look like they will be competitive this year as well. The size and (especially) speed of Maryland wore Nova down in the second half. The running game does need a lot of work.
