This is Weis' 3rd year, so almost. Either way, as far as I'm concerned, you can never beat Notre Dame bad enough.

Weis needs to get some defensive blue chippers in at ND. Quinn leaving was bad enough, but not having a defense is way worse. Get some quick LB's and lineman, and make a unit that is respectable. It was painful watching GT pick ND apart like they did.xbawlingx

ND looked awful.. minus yrds rushing due to numerous QB sacks.. Could be a loooong year in South Bend.

i love it when they continue to suck. maybe this year they wont make the mistake of putting them in a bcs bowl.

If they are in the top 8 of the BCS rankings, they automatically get into a BCS bowl. Meanwhile, one-loss teams at numbers 4-7 sometimes don't get in.

They wonder why other fans despise them so much.
They have their own TV network.
They're able to weasel into BCS games they don't deserve.
They're independent so they don't have to share any of their bowl $$$.
Last but not least, they're the most ove team out there.

Well we knew it was going to be a rough year - there are next to no juniors and seniors thanks to Ty. Not a good start, but it'll get better. Time to play Clausen

I'm no fan of Penn State, but I sure hope the Nittany Lions hammer ND just like Ga Tech did this weekend.
