Albany doing a great job defensively getting pressure. Esposito looks like he could be a keeper at QB. Colgate D has played well, needs to get some better field position. Lots of football left to play, but this has to be on the Offense to step up and make some plays and get them on top in this one.
Biddle says "we just need to move the ball on offense." Fucillo, he says, "needs to step up and throw the ball sometimes."

UMass wins this game...but it really was two games...
First half and start of the third quarter was all UMass...
Holy Cross woke up and scored 21 unanswered points...but in the end UMass was able to hold on...
Most points scored against the UMass defense since the Army game two years ago...
Matt Lawrence looked great in the running game...
Appy only scored 28 on them in the NC games last year!!!

For some reason Georgetown always plays Lafayette tough which should give Tavani that extra edge he needs to motivate the troops. Stony Brook isn't that bad of a team and Georgetown showed some fight tonight which is good for them. With that said Lafayette shouldn't have too much trouble with the Hoyas next week. I don't think anyone will know how good Lafayette is until week 3 against Penn.

Georgetown is probably inline for another 3-8 2-9 type season. They need to invest in winning before they can win. They haven't improved their commitment since they joined the league which is pretty disturbing. I don't see Hoya football getting any better until they put some money into the program.
