FARMINGTON, Utah (Oct. 25, 2021) - Weber State's Eddie Heckard was selected as the ROOT SPORTS Big Sky Football Defensive Player of the Week after he led the Wildcats to a road upset of No. 2 Eastern Washington. Heckard was joined by Sacramento State's Jake Dunniway and UC Davis' Daniel Whelan to round out the weekly honors.
