Nursing a 13-6 lead into the fourth quarter on Saturday at Bobcat Stadium, Montana State called on its defense to help its offense. It wasn't until late in the game that the Bobcats defense finally forced visiting Idaho State into a three and out, and following the Bengal punt, MSU scored on a 27-yard pass from Matt McKay to Lance McCutcheon to put the game out of reach at 20-6.
