Honestly that's a pretty good looking set of rankings IMO. Delaware shouldn't be ranked but if them at #23 is the biggest gripe I can find that's not too shabby.

EDIT: Sac State being one spot above UNI is pretty xeyebrowx-ish too I guess.

If UD and URI are ranked, so should Stony Brook and Towson
Point is: None of the above should be ranked.

So what you are saying is that the CAA is top heavy and generally sucks after those first two of Nova and JMU?

That would be a fair assessment of what most of us have been saying.

Yep. I am down to two CAA teams in my poll.

Wow! A rare good week for the fine people over at STATS led by Craig. Didn’t think they’d have the balls to drop Jacksonville State out of the poll. Good for them!

Rhode Island took a serious hit. The voters valuing a one loss Southland, OVC and SoCon team over a one loss CAA team is… interesting. Maybe it is a two-bid league this year?

Have you seen their schedule? They do not play Weber St., Montana St AND Eastern Washington...holy crap.
I will be backing up the Brinks truck to bet against the Hornets in the first round of the playoffs.

I’m not sure how good Montana State is after watching them Friday night.

Doesn’t necessarily mean that they are that good but wins are wins, isn’t that what we say about SHSU’s dog**** schedule. You can’t help what your schedule is.

I wouldn't say UNI is in a free-fall yet. They can't help that they've played two 15 teams the past two weeks either (with another on tap this Saturday). But they did roll Sacramento St on the road just a little over a month ago.

Yea. I hear you but effort by UNI, at home in a must win game was pretty freaking sad. They just looked “finished”. I don’t know. Just a sense I have but I am mostly wrong in these areas. 😎

Really? I keep hearing the contrary over and over again. Not picking on you, but lots of hrumphing about schedules from some folks.

Good to see VMI and ETSU ranked out of the SoCon, both are good football teams - (it really pains me to say that about ETSU). Not much love for the Mocs after a top 10 win, but we had our chance and blew it against Austin Peay (and VMI too). At the time I thought Peay was a decent FB team and would probably win the OVC, but I'm not sure what happened.

I was kind of being sarcastic. I put a fair amount of stock in SOS but you still need to win at some point in time

Call me biased, but I have a real good feeling after our last two games that Northern Arizona is going to upset Sac St next week. The offense is finally rolling with Freshman RJ Martinez who came in the 2nd half of the upset over Arizona. He hasn't looked back since.

Honestly. That wouldn’t surprise me at all. You guys are a little bit different on the road it seems but have looked pretty good the last couple weeks. The NoCo game was a head scratcher.
